To support ministry events and attendance tracking, we may collect:

  • Personal Information: Name, email, grade/age group, and parent/guardian contact info (if applicable).

  • Attendance Records: Event registrations and attendance status.

  • Optional Information: Prayer or praise requests uploaded by users (never shared outside the ministry).

  • Third-Party Logins: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we collect basic profile data they provide.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only for ministry purposes, such as:

  • Organizing and managing events,

  • Communicating with youth, parents, and leaders,

  • Tracking attendance and engagement, and

  • Improving the App’s functionality.

We do not sell or use your data for advertising.

 

3. Sharing of Information

We only share information with:

  • Ministry leaders who manage events and attendance,

  • Parents/guardians, when appropriate,

  • Service providers (such as secure cloud hosting),

  • Legal authorities, if required by law.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. Only authorized ministry staff may access sensitive data.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Young in Faith app is designed primarily for high-school students and their leaders/parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts for users under 13 are not permitted. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it and disable the account. If you believe we have collected information from a child who is not permitted to use the app, please contact us at younginfaith@gmail.com and we will investigate and delete such information.

6. Your Rights

You (or your parent/guardian) may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect ministry or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
